Te Whare Hoatu Kaimua 

Nestled in the Kaimai Ranges of New Zealand, just 20 minutes drive from Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, we think Hoatu Kaimua Lodge is just a little piece of heaven on earth.

Perhaps you need a little oasis where you can stay and relax for a week or so. Maybe you need a weekend away with your whanau or friends, or a space for a prayer retreat.

We cater to larger groups, and especially love family gatherings, sports teams, church retreats, staff trainings, or those wanting to hike in the forest.

​

We have accommodation for up to 30 people, our normal minimum for booking's is 20 people but do contact us if you have less than that and we can see if our place will suit your group.

We have:​

• two dormitory style bunk rooms

• two cosy double rooms.

​

You will have the use of our huge commercial kitchen plus spacious lounge room complete with open fire. We have two barbecues on the deck for your use as well. 

​

Our amenities include two large camp style bathrooms - one for men and one for women. We have gas heating in the bathrooms and sleeping areas for winter travellers. A large washing machine and commercial dryer is also available for cash donation. Wifi is not currently available so it is the perfect opportunity to come and unplugged from the rest world and enjoy the peace of the beautiful whenua (land).
